Delaware and Ulster Counties

Driving on any rural route in these counties will take the driver past farm lands, covered bridges, old dilapidated barns and creeks emptying into the reservoirs and hiking trails. These diverse landscapes provide the plein aire artist with a multitude of subjects. Each seasonal change alters the landscape and presents a different palette of colors to the artist. These subjects aided me in creating some of my favorite oil paintings of this region.
